And two (make that three!) lucky ducky dachshunds from the 2-25-11 litter go to......

Congratulations to Tom and Lynn Ryon for expanding their family with not one but TWO of our beautiful pups. Noah (Mahogany with Sable tipping) and Mason (Chocolate based red) will now be named "Schultz and Dooley" thanks to a beautiful family story going back a generation or two. Lucky, Lucky puppies!

UDPATE: AND speaking of "Lucky".....In a hail Mary decision that only true "dog people" make, the Ryon's could not leave Cooper behind and have taken all three of these boys. They have decided to keep his name as "Cooper" but I have encouraged them to add "Lucky" just before the "Cooper."

Dooley, Schultz and Lucky Cooper all went to their new forever home today on 4.23.11 with the Ryons. We are sure they are in for tons of laughs and love X 3.

About Me

Our affection for Dachshunds was gifted to our family. My sister- in-law could have just as easily been a St. Bernard Breeder (thank goodness she's not, based on size alone.) but instead she generously gifted us two gorgeous, thoughtfully, carefully, lovingly, bred Doxies. Tucker (sire) and Charley (Dam) are our pets, first and foremost. While they could easily do damage in any Doxie competition, they spend most of their time being couch potatoes with peanut butter in their hair and being spoiled rotten. Because they are our family members I breed them with attention to every detail that has been handed down to me by sister-in-law. She has gained a solid reputation for quality dachshunds that I wish to replicate. Thus, we continue to promote the Dachshund standard and send every new pup to their owner happy, healthy and certainly socialized as they spend their first 8-9 weeks with our family, under foot, in our home, curled up in our laps. When they are not being attended to by the humans in the house, they are with Charley in their indoor kennel and play yard. Our Doxies are only suitable for the right buyers who are looking to expand your families, which is different than merely expanding your backyards. We owe it to our pups to be sure that they have the very best and we hope that it might be you.

Terms of Sale

All pups will be sold via a contract that protects the right of the buyer and the puppy.

The price is subject to change with each litter. The August 2010 litter will be priced as follows and on a spay/neuter contract:

All pups from this litter will be $600

Contact the seller directly if you wish to have breeding rights. There will be a $100 upcharge for conveying breeding rights if your request is approved.

Pick of the litter: Know you want a pup already? Want a certain one from the litter once they are born? Simple...put down a $200 non-refundable deposit for pick of the litter in order of deposit. Your puppy will be posted as "Sold" at that time. Repeat buyers will be offered a small discount.

Seller reserves the right to cancel any sale at any time during the purchase process. If deposits have been made, the seller will refund the deposit upon terminaion of the sale.

It's always a fun time to welcome babies because they are just so darn doxieeelicious. Charley and Tucker have produced a second beautiful litter with some really fun colors.

1. "Cali" born 4:27am 9ounces. EE Red girl (Honey blonde with black eyes and nose).

2. "Dudley" born 5:15am 8ounces. Chocolate and Tan boy.

3. "Bella" born 5:50am 7.5ozs. Black and Tan (like momma)

4. "Hollie" born 6:20am 7.5ozs. Red Sable (like papa) girl

We knew from the last litter that the reds/sables were sure to happen and of course we could get black and tans. So our big surprise this litter was the little Chocolate and Tan boy, "Dudley." We know he's going to be one handsome boy and we are excited about "Cali" our little EE Red (honey/blonde color with black eyes and nose)!
